HY 5 kV Insulation Resistance Tester

The insulation resistance tester (Megohmmeter) measures insulation resistance of electrical equipment to assess the performance of insulating media. It detects insulation dampness, aging, contamination, cracks and damage by measuring insulation resistance, absorption ratio and polarization index for early detection of hidden insulation defects.
Widely used for factory inspection, handover acceptance, overhaul and preventive tests on generators, transformers, cables, motors, switchgears and high-voltage equipment. It offers safety reference for withstand voltage tests and equipment commissioning and avoids insulation breakdown, leakage and short-circuit failures.

Functional features
  1. Equipped with 7‑inch industrial‑level color LCD screen. It features high resolution of 1024×600, viewing angle of 85° and brightness of 400 cd/m². Adopting capacitive touch screen with explosion‑proof glass, the instrument delivers comfortable operation feel, and the display is robust and durable.
  2. Integrated with color backlight jog‑dial and buttons for improved operator experience.
  3. It provides 6 output voltage ranges:
     
    100 V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V, 2500 V, 5000 V.
     
    User‑defined voltage mode: 50 V～5000 V, continuously adjustable with 10 V voltage step.
  4. The maximum output short‑circuit current is 6 mA, adjustable among 1 mA, 2 mA, 3 mA, 4 mA, 5 mA and 6 mA.
  5. The maximum continuous output power is 25 W.
